Displaying fields when creating new item and them hide them when editing the item, and viceversa. How to do this?

Hi Everyone,

I have the need to have a field in my list to be displayed and editable when submitting a new form, but when editing that very item, have that field hidden (not visible). Also, would have the need to keep a field hidden when submitting a new form, but them make it visible when editing the item.

How can this be achieved?

Thanks

@jotap45

You could set the Visible property on the DataCard to change when the Form mode is changed.

Visible - !(yourForm.Mode= New)

This will make the entire DataCard not visible if the mode of the Form is "New"

Hope that helps some.
