Drop down control

I have been having issues with the drop down control on my PowerApps application I created. My application is connected to SharePoint lists. I used the "Create an app" feature which automatically turned those fields with multiple choices into drop down, however, those fields with long lists of choices, I am unable to select choices that are on the bottom of the list after scrolling down.

I then manually changed those fields and reinserted a drop down control as suggested on a previous post, however now I am unable to add a record using the application - It keeps populating a message that states "An unknown error occured."

Re: Drop down control

Hi @nafeeza920,

How did you change those fields? Did you reduce the number of the choices? Also, after this change, please try to recreate the app using this connection and see if the dropdown in the new app could work.

If this still won't resolve your issue, please tell how many choices do you have in this column so that I will try to reproduce your issue later.

Regards,

Mona

Re: Drop down control

Hi @v-monli-msft,

I found a workaround for the time being. What I did now was changed the data source fields from drop down to text, reconnected to the data from the app, unlocked all the cards for which I wanted drop down choices, inserted a drop down control, and made those necessary configurations.

I initially had about 30 choices for one of the fields from my SharePoint list. With the lookup function, it didn't allow my users to select those choices that were listed on the bottom of the drop down. I would really appreciate it if you could take a look into this and provide me with a solution.

Thank you,

Nafeeza
