DropDown Issue show double itmes

hi Everyone

I have created a sharePoint list with a colum as choice

Employee - Choice - chice are:

John

Adam

Joe

Mike

 

when i create the powerapp the drop down shows the following

John

John

 

Adam

Adam

 

Joe

Joe

 

Mike

Mike

 

Can anyone help

Hi @tasefi ,

Can you share more formulas you used in Drop down? Did you check the following options of Choice column?

The cause of double items maybe that your formula repeatedly submit choices accidentally.

You can use the following test to know if the issue is caused by the source of Choices.

Put a button on your screen and set the OnSelect property to the following:

ClearCollect(test, Choices(SPlist.Employee))

Then set the text property of the button to the following:

CountRows(test)

Alt-click the button, or run the app and click it.  To check if button text is 4 or 8.

 

Solution:

Use Distinct function to show unique value. Set following formula to items of Dropdown.

Distinct(Choices(test1.Staff),Value)

@tasefi Can you bind your dropdown with other Column of the same SP list and check whether issue is replicating or not. Also you can try using Distinct function to show the unique result.
