Editing a DataTable in PowerApps Form

Hi All,

I am currently working on one PowerApps form which retreives a table from SQL and shows in it.

Need to edit the column status by 4 options in it like a drop-down? Any suggestions.

Note: Should I use Gallery instead?

Re: Editing a DataTable in PowerApps Form

The documentation for the datatable control contains the following bullet point under "not yet available"

  • Edit data in the Data table control.

So you'll need to use a Gallery or something else to edit the data.

see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/controls/control-data-table

Re: Editing a DataTable in PowerApps Form

Thanks for the reply.

However I have used ShowColumns,Addcolumns and Lookup ( from 3 tables) inside the Data Table.

Will I be able to use the same concept in Gallery Control. I am asking this in advance as I do not want to put my effort on it.

Re: Editing a DataTable in PowerApps Form

ShowColumns and AddColumns works at the datasource level, so yes you can use it with a Gallery.
