Error connecting to SharePoint Calendar using the SharePoint phone template

I am trying to connect a Canvas App to a Sharepoint Calendar however when you choose the SharePoint Phone layout template and enter the list name I want to connect to I get the following error.

Unable to get property 'tableName' of undefined or null reference

Session ID: 41eaf869-3095-45cd-98ad-aa366ff01ec4

Once I create a blank app I can create a Data Source to that list successfully

Hi @PenWarner ,

It is an known issue that generating an app from custom list name could not work in PowerApps Studio currently.

I have already posted this issue to my Product Team, the Product Team is investigating this issue. The response from Alex Dobin as below:

You should be able to use the same column name as already exists I believe. It looks like a change that was made for CDS native support (here) changed the return value for table information that we relied on for the custom table flow. I’ve filed this bug and assigned to runtime: Bug 4400324: Unable to create an app from data with a custom sharepoint list name.
