Error creating a new form from Model Driven App designer (new experience)

When making a model driven app the following error occurs when I try to make a New form from an entity. (see attachment).

 

A current workaround is making a form via de Dyn365 settings > solutions. The classis form designer will start and the form is created. Editing the form from the default PowerApps > Model Driven App designer works than.

 

Editing a form does work! But making a new one gives the error.

Hi @Merlijn ,

Do you mean that you can not add new forms of your entity?

Please check whther the solution is allowed for customization.

If the managed properties for an entity in the managed solution are set to allow customization, you can add or edit forms to that entity. Or else, you couldn't.

I've made a similar test but not met the same problem like your description.

Please try to clean your browser's cache, update it to the latest version and try again.

You could also try another browser.

I think that your problem shoule also be related to network condition.

Hi Phoebe Liu,

 

I have exact the same issue @Merlijn experiences. When adding a new 'Main Form' in the model-driven app designer I get the same error. Then I found your reply and tried the following:

 

  • Change to another browser (Edge, Firefox, Chrome)
  • Emptied the cache for all browsers
  • Opened example model driven apps (also the same error)

Unfortunately this didn't resolve the issue. So I really hope the attached information provides enough information for you to find the root cause. Should you need extra info, please let me know!
