I am trying to create my first Edit Form, and have an issue when trying to submit the completed form.
The following message comes up, and I have no idea how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.
The requested operation is invalid.
Server Response: ')' or ',' expected at position 10 in 'New Account'
Thanks in advance.

I'm not quite sure what the answer to this is.
@MattyH - is this the same issue as the 'duplicate record' problem that you mentioned here, or is it a separate problem?
My apologies, I should have closed this, but forgot about it.
I have, more by luck than judgement, solved it myself.
As it turns out, one of the required fields in the edit form was automatically filling, so when the user added another entry into the same field, it would not save.
The OnSelect formula looks fine so I don't think that's the source of the problem.
To help diagnose this further, what data source are you using? SharePoint? What is 'New Account' and can you think of any formula that you have in your app that refers to this?
Also, it might be of some help if you could screenshot this error.
The Datasource is Dynamics 365.
I assumed the 'New Account' was the new data that would be sent to Dynamics, there is nothing else in the app that I can think of that refers to this.
I will sort a screenshot shortly, but am unable to access at the moment.
The part of the error message that I find interesting is 'The data source may be invalid'.
To diagnose this further, I would create a new 'auto-generated' app by selecting the 'Start from data' option. You can use this to confirm that you read and write data to your Dynamics 365 data source. If this works, you can compare the settings in the Edit form settings to try and work out more precisely the cause of your error.
I have just tried this again, using a different entity, and the new record was written to Dynamics 365 instantly and without any issues.
This is getting quite confusing...
