Filter out empty values from Drop Down field

In my form, I m doing a lookup to a secondary SharePoint list to retrieve the "Type of Purchase/Spend". My items value is currently VendorDataList.'Vendor Type', where VendordataList is my data source and Vendor Type is the field I want to return.

Unfortunately, the list they are using is used for other lookup values and not all entries have a "Vendor Type".

Currently, I am getting all the values, including those that don't have a Vendor. So, when you start scrolling down, all the "Empty" Vendor types" are returned as well:

I tried to write a filter method, but can't seem to figure out the actual filter statement to enter to filter out the "empty" ones?

Re: Filter out empty values from Drop Down field

Can you try Distinct(VendorDataList.'Vendor Type')?

@shanemeisner

Have you already tried using ISBLANK like this?  I believe this would avoid delegation warnings.

Filter(your_datasource_name,IsBlank(your_column) = false)

Re: Filter out empty values from Drop Down field

Thanks @PowerAddict  .. Your idea led me down a path that removed the "empty" ones and sorted the values::

Sort(Distinct(VendorDataList,'Vendor Type'),Result)
