Gallery show result delay, the result show after click other value

Hi All,

It's weird that the Gallery Results show the previous value selected.

For example, in my combo box have "A,B,C,D". It is a multiple selection combo box.
At the first time, I select "B", the Gallery shown nothing.

Then, I tried to click "D"(it has "B" and "D" in the combo box now), the Gallery show the result of "B".

I remove "B"then the Gallery show the result of  "D".

Anyone experienced this? Will it because of big data?

Thank you.

Hi @EYOST ,

In order to better understand and solve your issue:

1. Could you post more details with your gallery and combo box, such as formulas, logical relationship or more.

2. How much data do you have?

3. What is data source of it?

4. Is there any error information in your formulas?

I have made a test with a few amount of data, and don't have your issue.

Could you try to test with a little bit of data to confrim if the issuse is caused by the big data? And Share as more details as possible to help solving your issues.

Best regards,

Sik

@v-siky-msft

Thanks for your reply!

1. Could you post more details with your gallery and combo box, such as formulas, logical relationship or more.

3 combo boxes, not a must to select all. All datasources are Table1.

ComboBox1 -> To choose the value in Category Type 1

ComboBox2 -> To choose the value in Category Type 2

ComboBox3 -> To choose the value in Category Type 3

Table1 contains the value for CategoryType, CategoryCode and CategoryDescription.

One of the example for Combo box ComboBox3.Item =

Filter(
     Filter (Table1, CategoryType="C3"),
     IF(isEmpty(ComboBox1.SelectedItems),true, CategoryCode in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.CategoryCode ),
     IF(isEmpty(ComboBox2.SelectedItems),true, CategoryCode in ComboBox2.SelectedItems.CategoryCode )
    )

When I just open the App, the combo box is empty. The combo box only show the correct list after I change the below

Filter(
     Filter (Table1, CategoryType="C1"),
     IF(isEmpty(ComboBox1.SelectedItems),true, CategoryCode in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.CategoryCode ),
     IF(isEmpty(ComboBox2.SelectedItems),true, CategoryCode in ComboBox2.SelectedItems.CategoryCode )
    )

to

Filter(
     Table1,
     IF(isEmpty(ComboBox1.SelectedItems),true, CategoryCode in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.CategoryCode ),
     IF(isEmpty(ComboBox2.SelectedItems),true, CategoryCode in ComboBox2.SelectedItems.CategoryCode )
    )

and change again back to the initial one. It is so weird.

CategoryType is to define the row is "C1" , "C2" or "C3". Therefore, with or without specified CategoryType="C1", it should be fine.

Gallery datasource is Table2.

Gallery.Item =

Filter(
     Table2,
     IF(isEmpty(ComboBox1.SelectedItems),true, C1 in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.CategoryCode ),
     IF(isEmpty(ComboBox2.SelectedItems),true, C2 in ComboBox2.SelectedItems.CategoryCode ),
     IF(isEmpty(ComboBox3.SelectedItems),true, C3 in ComboBox3.SelectedItems.CategoryCode )
    )

2. How much data do you have?

Table2 have more than 20,000 rows.

3. What is data source of it?

SQL Server

4. Is there any error information in your formulas?

Delegation Warning.

When I try with the Excel tables(10rows data), it seems fine.

Re: Gallery show result delay, the result show after click other value

@v-siky-msft

I just tested with 3 tables(10 rows of data) inside an Excel today. It has another issue which I didn't mention above.

I tried with 5 combo boxes.

When the app is just opened, 1st combo box shown the correct values, 2nd to 5th combo box shown nothing.

After selecting the value for all 5 combo boxes, I remove all of the selected values, now only the combo boxes shown the list correctly.

Did I miss something?

Appreciate for your advise.

Thank you
