Grouped objects cannot be sent forward as a Group

While playing with the Group objects function I found this interaction which does not work as intended and should be considered a bug.

How to reproduce:

Create a new app

Add two labels and group the together

Add a rectangle shape over the screen (since it was added after the labels it will be in front).

Select rectangle and in Reorder menu select Send to Back, It works, but the Group goes back behind the rectangle after few seconds.

Select Group1 and in Reorder menu select Bring to front. It works, but the Group1 goes back behind the rectangle after few seconds.

How to make it work:

Select the first label individually and click Bring to front.

4.png

Select the second label individually and click Bring to front.

However, if after doing so you select the rectangle and click Send to Back it will send the labels behind the rectangle.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for the feedback.

I will take some more tests and share the results later.

Yes I’ve had this issue when grouping and using it for the visible function to create a pop up...

if if you create a group, and add another box etc to the group it will break the pop up for the same reasons, that it’s ordering is now wrong.
