Having trouble making a date field in a form a required field if the status of a job is completed

I have created a print request app and the data source is a sharepoint list. I have a date field in the list and in the app. By default i don't want the date field to be required, but if a choice menu from the sharepoint list is changed to "Completed" i want the date field to be required before the form can be saved. Here is the formula that i've put in the Required control: If(DataCardValue4_1.SelectedItems = "Completed",true, false)

But I get an error with it. What am i doing wrong?

Fortunately, I think this one is an easy fix 🙂

 If(DataCardValue4_1.Selected.Value = "Completed",true,false)

Thank you! I don't know why SelectedItems would get auto listed and Selected didn't, anyways, i should have tried that. Thank you again!
