Help Desk Sample app add resolution field to edit form

I am using the Help Desk Sample found here

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/help-desk-install

I am looking to add a resolution field which I already did in the list, I just need to figure out how to add that field to edit form when the technician goes into update the ticket and close it out.  My boss wants to keep track of how we fix the issues

Re: Help Desk Sample app add resolution field to edit form

Hi @Smatera9681 ,

Do you add the resolution field into the Edit form?

Have you added the resolution field within your Edit form already?

If you have added the resolution field within your Edit form already, and want to enable the resolution field within your Edit form, please take a try with the following workaround:

1. Refresh the HelpDesk SP List data source in your app manually.

2. Go to the Edit screen of your app, then select the Edit form, then click "Edit fields", then click "Add fields" option, then find the resolution field within the expanded avaialable fields list:1.JPG

2.JPG

then check the resolution field within the above available fields list, then click "Add" button, then the resolution field would be added into your Edit form.
