How to show data in a label using a value from sharepoint list

Hi, I've built a few sharepoint lists and am using them as tables in a make shift database, thanks to the killing off of access web apps.  I'm having a problem, in a gallery I need to display data from two different sharepoint lists, the two lists are

Crewmembers

- ID

- CrewDate

- CrewMemberName

- CrewMemberActivityID

Activities

- ID

- Activity

- StartDate

- EndDate

The gallery is using the crewmembers sharepoint list, within the gallery for each record shown I need to display the Activities.Activity where CrewMembers.CrewMemberActivityID = Activities.ID

I have tried a few different ways, I'm currently getting a invalid argument type when using the below for the Text value of the label in the gallery I'm using

LookUp(ThisItem.CrewMemberActivityID = Activities.ID, Activities.Activity)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: How to show data in a label using a value from sharepoint list

I'm using the below and getting no data

LookUp(Activities, ThisItem.CrewMemberActivityID = Activities.ID, Activity)

I tried the below also with no results

LookUp(Activities, Text(ThisItem.CrewMemberActivityID) = Text(Activities.ID), Activity)

Re: How to show data in a label using a value from sharepoint list

It would help to know what the field types are for the different SharePoint columns. For example CrewMemberActivityID could be a number, text or even a lookup column in SharePoint. The complext column types like choice, lookup and person/group are handled a little differently.

Re: How to show data in a label using a value from sharepoint list

Hi Jeff_Thorpe, all sharepoint columns are of type "single line of text" with the exception of

CrewMemberActivityID which is "number" and ID which is the sharepoint list ID which is of number as well.
