Hi,

I created an app on PowerApps and i can't save one value in sharepoint.

Can you share some of your formulas that you are having issues with and perhaps provide some screenshots of things you are seeing as a problem.  This will go a long way to digging into the solution for you.

Hi,

Screen 1 : The number selected is searched with the list "entité" and "projet" and "site"

Screen 2-3 : The number selected is writted in the datacardvalue "N° OTP"

I want to save this value in sharepoint and it's impossible (message "information required). For other values, it's good.

@Benoit42

So you have a customized data card in this case and it appears that you are trying to update a SharePoint Choice Column.

If that is the case, you will need to add more to your Update property for the DataCard.

Update property for NymOTP_DataCard1:
{'@odata.type' : "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedReference", Value: DataCardValue98.Selected.Value}

Again, this is the assumption that you are working with a Choice type column in SharePoint and not a Lookup type Column.  If it is a Lookup type column, then you will also need to add the Id.

Update property for NymOTP_DataCard1: {'@odata.type' : "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedReference", Value: DataCardValue98.Selected.Value, Id:DataCardValue98.Selected.Id}

Of course...you will need to make sure your items for the DataCardValue98 include both the Value and the ID of the foreign lookup record.

Hope this helps you.

@RandyHayes

Thanks

Yes i have a lookup type colum in sharepoint so i must to take the second formula.
How integer the ID and the value in the DataCardValue98 ?

Sorry but i'm learning...

@Benoit42

So that depends on how the items are being pulled in to the DropDown control.

As I see it in your pictures - the Items are Choices('Saisie - Inspection'.N_x00b0_OTP)

This implies that this is a Choice column, not a lookup.

So, where are you getting your Lookup information from?

Hi @RandyHayes

In Sharepoint, I retrieve values from another table with a search column (this is not a choice column).

For powerapps, I started to create the app from sharepoint directly and after I modified it.

@Benoit42

So yes, you will need to specify the Id and the Value on your Update property as I mentioned.

Is it all working properly for you now or are you still encountering issues?

@RandyHayes

Sorry, but i'm still encountering issue.

I writed "{'@odata.type' : "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedReference"; Value: DataCardValue98.Selected.Value; id:DataCardValue98.Selected.Id}"

It's the same issue. The data is not in the list sharepoint and the others yes

@Benoit42

First, there is a syntax issue with what you posted.  I believe it was perhaps just posted that way and not how you have it in PowerApps, as it would "complain" otherwise.  It is with the ID...you have id, should be Id.

I writed "{'@odata.type' : "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpandedReference"; Value: DataCardValue98.Selected.Value; Id: DataCardValue98.Selected.Id}"

So, if that's not the issue, try this...put two labels on your screen and set them to DataCardValue98.Selected.Value and the other to DataCardValue98.Selected.Id.  Make sure that they show the values and Id that you expect to see and that they correspond to an actual record in your lookup.

Also, to be clear, this Formula you have is on the Update property of your DataCard?
