It's impossible to reconnect to Azure after the password has been changed

Putting this here in the hopes that someone from Microsoft sees it, and that it finally gets fixed. Every so often, I have to change my admin password for microsoft Azure. the problem is that then all my powerapps data sources go to **bleep** and cannot connect. When i try to edit the data sources, I get an error that reads: 

"Credentials are missing or not valid. inner exception: The credentials provided for the SQL source are invalid. (Source at tcp:remade-db.database.windows.net;Institute_Prod_DB.) clientRequestId: c3998707-e392-4797-9661-ea7cf6c75ae5"
 
The credentials are NOT invalid. They also are not missing. What can I do to fix this? How can PowerApps be caught-up enough to know that my Azure login has changed, without being able to log in with my new password?
