Launching into another app onto second screen

Hi, I've been looking at the Launch() function and know that you can open another app. What I'm trying to do now is when I click this particular button on my first app, I want it to open say Screen2 of my second app; and if I click on another link on my forst app it will open to Screen3 of my second app. I've been trying to do this with parameters but am currently not able to make it work. Please provide code examples so I can see what I am doing wrong/guide me in the right direction.

Re: Launching into another app onto second screen

Hi @JLam63,

It is available to open another App with the launch() function, but it is not available to open another App within an App.

Currently PowerApps is not supported to do that.

As far as I can tell, currently Apps within PowerApps could only hold one session for each App at a time, it is not available for another App to work within the current App session.

Re: Launching into another app onto second screen

Using the Launch() command within the Button OnSelect box will launch another app from an app.

Capture.PNGLaunch("the other app URL")

Launch("the URL of the app in active mode, not the URL when in Edit mode")

In other words, open the other app as if you are going to use it. Then copy the URL, then paste the URL within the Action OnSelect box for the button you are programming. Use "URL" quotations.

Works like a charm.

I have not yet figured out how to direct it to go to a specific screen though.
