Lookup problem with new version

I have created an app where I use a data source(Excel table,Ondrive for Business) I use a specific LookUp against this data source multiple places in the app, to manipulate colors, checkboxes and more.

When I were revisiting the app to do some changes, and noticed that all the checkboxes were checked off all colors where set to "Marked" in the dev environment.

Published the app again(now powerapps version 3.18081.19), all checkboxes is checked.

After the checkboxes where unresponsive I emptied the data source. All checkboxes still marked off.

When I rollback, the formula still works (powerapps version 3.18063.33, Euro style code)

!IsBlank(LookUp(EmployeeData;Emp_name=User().FullName And Emp_certification=Gallery1.Selected.Titles))

Color change

If(!IsBlank(LookUp(EmployeeData;Emp_name=User().FullName And Emp_certification=ThisItem.Titles)); RGBA(0; 0; 0; 0,4);  RGBA(0; 0; 0; 1))

Patch{} function is also unresponsive after what i saw after publiching tha app.

I cannot find any reason why all formulas using this lookup stopped working, very thankfull for any help.

Re: Lookup problem with new version

Hi @hedberg90,

Could you please share a screenshot about your app's configuration?

I have made a test on my side with the LookUp function, and don't have the issue that you mentioned.

Please take a try to re-create your app with current PowerApps version (3.18081.19), then check if the issue is solved.

In addition, you could also take a try to use the Filter function to instead of the LookUp function within your formula, then check if the issue still exists. Please take a try with following formula:

RGBA(0, 0, 0, 0.4),

On your side, it may be:

RGBA(0; 0; 0; 0,4);
RGBA(0; 0; 0; 1)

More details about the Filter function in PowerApps, please check the following article:

Filter function
