Managed Metadata column in poweraps customform

Hi

I created a custom list in SharePoint where I have a term store linked to a managed metadata column.

The layout when creating a new item in that list is like this:

I started editing the form with PowerApps with the following result:

As you can see the managed metadata is just stored as a flot combox instead of first selecting the country than the shops.

Re: Managed Metadata column in poweraps customform

Hi @MaximV ,

I test on my side, and it has the same result as you shows.

I think you can create the columns distinguish the levels you show.

I test as next, data source:

20190418testlevel2.PNG

And then test:

20190418test1.PNG

Re: Managed Metadata column in poweraps customform

Hi @v-yuxima-msft

That won't be possible as it it's split in countries.

Making a term store/country and then a column/country is too much and seems crazy if you want to filter.

Re: Managed Metadata column in poweraps customform

Hi @MaximV ,

Your question is good, however now what I have the method is firstly set your level one and level two with some identify, for example, pre- or what to distinguish, then use filter function to choose the level what you want.

I test as next,Add one button, Button.OnSelect:ClearCollect(test,Choices('20190418Metadata'.Country_City))

20190419metadata1.PNG

20190419collection.PNG

Then ComboBox.Items:Filter(test, "City" in Label)

20190419metadata2.PNG

Result Check: The Result will only show the city level.

This is what I have thought , maybe there is one better solution, if you find one more perfert, welcome update the post.

Hope this could be helpful.

Best Regards.
