Maximum 500 rows Excel table in PA?

I just tried my first PA with a supplier name table in Excel (download from Sharepoint list) which holds 9000 rows. I found out PA processes only 500 rows, also if I use a fliter in PA.

Is there a solution to this? Or will this limitation be dropped in the near future?

Re: Maximum 500 rows Excel table in PA?

Hi uiterlex,

It is a limitation for the current version of PowerApps Preview. In general, PowerApps works with any size data source by delegating operations to the data source. For operations that can't be delegated, PowerApps will give a warning at authoring time and operate on only the first 500 records of the data source.

As PowerApps still is improved, the limitation would be improved in future.

There are two similar threads about this limitation, you can take a look at:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Forum/Data-source-500-item-limit-for-SP-list-and-256-i...

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Forum/Rollback-delegation/m-p/2131#M1188

Thanks,

Wendy

Re: Maximum 500 rows Excel table in PA?

Hi,

Can anybody tell me the limitations on excel tables. I am trying to read data from a excel table with 10000 rows. I receive system out of memory exception.

Thanks,
