Multi filter tekst and dropdown

Hello, I want to put two filters in my browsescreen.

My tekst filter is already working, with this

SortByColumns(Filter(Nieuwe,StartsWith(Categorie.Value, TextSearchBox1.Text)), "Title", If(SortDescending1, Descending, Ascending))

Now i want to add a dropdown filter with the status off the list item.

Can someone help me?

Re: Multi filter tekst and dropdown

Hi @Anonymous,

Do you want to add multiple filter conditions to filter your Gallery items?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, please take a try with the following workaround:

I assume that there is a Status column in your SP list, which you want to compare with the selected value within the Dropdown control.

If the Status column is a Single line of text type column, please modify your formula as below (set Items property of the Gallery control to following😞

SortByColumns(
Filter(Nieuwe, StartsWith(Categorie.Value, TextSearchBox1.Text), Status = Dropdown1.Selected.Value),
"Title",
If(SortDescending1, Descending, Ascending)
)

If the Status column is a Choice type column, please modify your formula as below:

SortByColumns(
        Filter(Nieuwe, StartsWith(Categorie.Value, TextSearchBox1.Text), Status.Value = Dropdown1.Selected.Value),
        "Title",
        If(SortDescending1, Descending, Ascending)
)

Above formula may cause a Delegation warning issue, in order to get rid of this Delegation warning issue, please take a try with the following workaround:

Set the OnVisible property of the first screen of your app to following:

ClearCollect(RecordsCollection, Nieuwe)

Set the Items property of the Gallery to following:

SortByColumns(
        Filter(RecordsCollection, StartsWith(Categorie.Value, TextSearchBox1.Text), Status.Value = Dropdown1.Selected.Value),
        "Title",
        If(SortDescending1, Descending, Ascending)
)

Re: Multi filter tekst and dropdown

Hello,

You need to first create a collection for your list and then use this formula

-----------------------------------------------------

SortByColumns(
Filter(
collRequests,
If(
Not(IsBlank(TextSearchBox1.Text)) && !(IsEmpty(searchType.Selected)),TextSearchBox1.Text in Title && searchType.Selected.Value in RequestType,
true
)
),
"Created",
Descending
)

-----------------------------------------

collRequests is the collection of list

searchType is combobox in search form
