Mutiple Sharepoint lists

So i have a SharePoint site that contains many lists that are named after users.

Is it possible to connect to the given list deepening on which user is using the app

So if John uses the app then it connect to Johns list, If Jane uses the app then it connect to Janes list.

i would like just to have one screen with a gallery to display the data

Re: Mutiple Sharepoint lists

Unfortunately, I dont think thats possible currently. You can dynamically reduce your gallery's items as long as the data source is defined. In other words, you can have something like this: If(Condition1, Users, Filter(Users, Condition2))

Re: Mutiple Sharepoint lists

@Islandspapand  as @PowerAddict mentioned you cannot create the data connections dynamically. However, you can accomplish what you are looking for by first creating the connections to each users list and then in the gallery's items property do something like this. Switch(User, "John", JohnsList,"Joe",JoesList, "ETC",ETClist)

Re: Mutiple Sharepoint lists

@datamaster just to add to that, the columns in the lists need to the same. Else the gallery controls will keep throwing errors.

Re: Mutiple Sharepoint lists

Hi @Islandspapand ,

 If the Fields you want to display in the gallery are the same, you can set Items property of Gallery as below:

  Switch(User().Email, "User1@xxx.com" ,User1LIst,"User2@xxx.com",'User2List',...)

Then the Gallery will show the corresponding user's list.

If the Fields is different, I am afraid it is not supported in PowerApps currently, because the Fields of gallery are constant, they can not be modified by expression.

Best regards,

Sik
