Navigation only temporary?

Hello all, hopefully you can help me. Im trying to create a simple app so people can submit maintenance requests as they see them. I am using a sharepoint list as the basis for the data, which seems to be working well, but....

Right after the form is submitted I Created a screen that will allow them to exit the app, or create a new ticket, but the form submission button before that doesnt stay on that screen, It only stays on it for about a half second then goes back to the form page.

Here is the code I have on the form submission button.

SubmitForm(EditForm1);If(EditForm1.ErrorKind=ErrorKind.None, Navigate(FinalScreen,ScreenTransition.None))

Any advice you have I appreciate.

Thanks!

OnSuccess is a property of the form. Therefore, if you select EditForm1 in the designer and view the 'Advanced' section in the right hand pane, you should find it there.

Re: Navigation only temporary?

I think your issue is the statement EditForm1.ErrorKind=ErrorKind.None is redundant.  The submitform action will not work if there is an error so I think you just need to navigate to teh new form.

Re: Navigation only temporary?

Hi @pocketens,

Did you mean that you want to click to sumbit a new ticket on the EditScreen and then navigate to the FinalScreen? If this is your requirement, you should just leave the OnSelect property of submission button with:

SubmitForm(EditForm1)

Then set the OnSuccess  property to the edit form to:

Navigate(FinalScreen,ScreenTransition.None)

This works for me, please have a test.

Mona
