No records from excel shown in PowerApps

I was creating an canvas using an excel table in One Drive as my datasource.

 

1. I formated excel records as Table

2. I connected my datasource to One Drive, and have selected the Table I formated in step1

3. No record in my excel sheet was shown; But I checked all the fields (heading of my excel) were there.

Was wondering any idea to resolve this issue? I have tried to remove the connection and reconnected as advised by other posts but it does not work.

To those who might be interested.

Somehow I got the issue resolved by:

1. Go to run mode

2. Type randomly in the search bar

3. Delete the random text in the search

4. Click refresh button a few times

 

Then the records shown. 

I believe part of the reason is during your first time connecting to a datasource especially for excel file in onedrive, it would take sometime for your excel connect to powerapps then sync all the records.

After records successfully loaded, new column "_PowerAppsId" will automatically show in your excel sheet, before which it was not there.

I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue you mentioned.

 

Can you check if there's an extra column in the table named "__PowerAppsId__"?

Could you try to create a new excel file, sheet and table to check if your issue is fixed?

Aslo try to rename your table!

Thanks for the advise. But there is no extra column showing sth like "_PowerAppsId_" after I connected.

Is it sth that will automatically created after you create your app from the excel table?
