Office 365 Users search - data give back to another fields

Hi,

Sorry for opening a new topic, but tried to search without success, or what i found it is not working.

I have a powerapps where i use Office365Users.Search with more boxes.

I have a combobox3 where i use this fx:

If(Rule6, Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm : ComboBox3.SearchText}))

SelectMultiple disabled, and give back DispayName also the search is based on DisplayName.

I have 2 more Drop down boxes which should give back the selected user e-mail address and department name.

This is what i use: Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm : ComboBox3.SearchText})

But the problem that this not give back the selected user's information, tried many version, but always get a red X and none of them working.

Can you please help which would be the proper one?

Also one more question: is is possible also to see in the search field in the same time the dispay name and the e-mail addres?

Thank you in advance

Hi V-micsh,

Thanks replying, after a while i figured out the solution, just forgot to post (or close it, not sure how can i do that):

If(Rule6,Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm : ComboBox3.Selected.MailNickname}))

This is what i put into the e-mail and department drop-down fields and selected which value should be visible and that is working so far 🙂

Re: Office 365 Users search - data give back to another fields

Hi @Janaboy,

Could you please explain a bit for the Dropdown here?

If here only the Selected user information need to be shown, we could just take use of Label control to show the information about the selected user.

For example, Label Email  & Label Department,

Label Email Text property set to:

ComboBox1.Selected.Mail

Label Department Text property set to:

ComboBox1.Selected.Department

For your other question, "is possible also to see in the search field in the same time the dispay name and the e-mail addres?"

No, currently it is not possible.

The combobox control is possible to show the items with two fields, for the Search fields, it is only available for single field.

For how to change the showing fields, try:

ConboBox1 ->Properties ->Fields  Edit-> Layout -> Change Layout,
