I am looking to create an app which works offline, as most of our sites are in rural areas where signal and wifi connectivity are patchy to say the least!
I have seen that a cached copy of the data can be saved on to a mobile device, and this sounds like it will be the way forward for me, but is there a reasonably straightforward way to estimate the memory size requirement for the cached data that each app will require?
From further investigation, I have seen reports that seem to indicate that offline capability is limited to 500 items. If that is correct, then it is of no use to me until the limit is raised and considerably so. I have over 6000 items I need to list!!
