Opening file without downloading

Hello,

I did list on sharepoint with "Link" column. In app I would like to open file without downloading. Unfortunately I don't know how do it. I tried with "https://..." with just downloading file and tried "file://..." wich doesn't work (additional display error ETAG mismatch).

Of course it's mean about file from server

Is it possible to do it?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Opening file without downloading

Hi @shaggy,

There is PDF Viewer control / Image control available within PowerApps to display the corresponding file.

For the other file type, like Excel, doc, there is no way that I am aware of to display/Preview it within PowerApps, there is an idea submitted on this already:

Word / Office documents viewer control in PowerApp

Further, for attachments, currently it is only available to download, there is no methods to Preview the attachments directly within PowerApps.

You may consider submit it as an idea if you would like to preview the files.
