Parsing a DYN365CE Alpha-numeric text field into three pieces using PowerApp?

I am still ramping up on all the available expressions and formulas in PowerApps (I don't have them memorized yet) so I appreciate the community support. Is there a quick place to read up on parsing an alpha-numeric text field coming from DYN365CE so that it can be split into three pieces? Is this no code possible or requires code...

Re: Parsing a DYN365CE Alpha-numeric text field into three pieces using PowerApp?

Hi @Astanton ,

Could you describe more clearly about how do you want to split the text?

Usually, we split text based on Separator.

For example:

Split("a,b,c,d",",")

The result is a table like this:

a

b

c

d

Here's a doc about split function for your reference:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-split
