Re: Patch person from ComboBox to SP People

It's weird! this works perfectly for me:

Patch('Employees Test', First('Employees Test'),
{RecordOwner: {

                 '@odata.type':
                 "#Microsoft.Azure.Connectors.SharePoint.SPListExpanderUser",
                 Claims:"i:0#.f|membership|" & locSelectedUserEmail,
                 Department:"",
                 DisplayName:"",
                 Email: locSelectedUserEmail,
                 JobTitle: ".",
                 Picture:"."
               }
})

and regarding the department field, I really don't know how you were able to Patch a Record to a Text type column. there is no way I could do it in my environment. If you have more info, please share with me because to my knowledge it's impossible to do the following without using Value. "Value" is a default option, when you enter "." after Selected, what does it suggest in the list?

Department: Dropdown6_1.Selected.Value
