Photos not appearing in published app

Hello

I have a set of photos in folders on a sharepoint site with a hyperlink to each of the images in an excel column: Image [image]

The images show perfectly when previewing the app but have completely disappeared in the published version. I've given access to the images folders to all the users.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Re: Photos not appearing in published app

Hi @Englishweb ,

Do you store the images in your SP Library, and put the Hyperlink link to the image into the image [image] column in your Excel table?

Actually, it is an known issue with images stored in SP Library. Please check the following thread for more details:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-PowerApps-Formerly/Share-point-pictures-can-not-be-seen...

Currently, Pictures that need authentication on SharePoint are not supported yet in published app or Mobile device. If you would like this feature to be added, please consider submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

As an alternative solution, please consider store these images files in your OneDrive folder, then put the relative url path of these saved images into the Image [image] column in your Excel table.

More details about storing image data within Excel table, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/tutorial-working-with-images-in-excel

In addition, if you want to display images stored in SP Library within an app directly, I think the thumbnail images functionality could achieve your needs, please also take a try with the solution mentioned within the following article:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/View-thumbnail-images-of-List-Item-Attachments-o...
