I have the same problem.
I use a gallery with flexible heigt( as elsewhere suggested ) and a label with autoheight = true.
randomly it works fine and sometimes some lines in the gallery don't.
this happens when i publish to the cloud and open the app on an Android device.
Please fix this his autoheight problem in a gallery control?
Was this problem ever solved? It is marked as "solved", but I don't see a solution posted.
Thanks for any insight!
It's definitely not solved. Autoheight has been unreliable and unpredictable in most of my use cases, and is even more so in the new rendering engine.
@hpkeong @JanLektonen @Django @samuelJ We have committed a fix that should address all auto-height issues in Forms for both Classic Rendering and Improved Rendering. It is scheduled to hit production in mid-January. I will update this thread again when it is deployed, or if the release schedule changes for any reason.
@davidstone @Mike8 @kees The fix should also address most, if not all, auto-height issues with variable-height galleries.
Music to my ears - thank you so much!
@_Corey_is there any temp fix untill we get the release in Jan? I really needed this fixed.
Thank you @_Corey_
@hpkeong @JanLektonen @Django @samuelJ @davidstone @Mike8 @kees @rameshkc The auto-height fix for forms and labels has completed deployment with version 3.18124. You will need to republish your apps for the fix to take effect.
This fix solved all my issues
Working with PowerApps release 3.19014 and still have Auto Height issue.
I have a filtered Gallery, with fixed height labels and Auto Height HTML Text boxes, populated with content coming from a multiline rich text field in a SharePoint list. The 'Y' position of each box is calculated by adding up the .Height values of the boxes. It works fine if the Improved App rendering is disabled and when I enable it and restart PowerApps, the Auto Height behaves as fixed height.
