PowerApps Submit Button

Hello Everyone, 

 

Need assistance please.  I created a form with 2 datasources: Calendar and Sharepoint List and the list is updated when the form is submitted, however I would like the form to also to update a field (FilledSeats) in the calendar when the form is submitted to keep track of attendees (max 4).  How do I go about in completing this task?

Hi @ArnelB ,

Do you want to update FilledSeats field in calendar table with the data of attendees field that is one field of Sharepoint List1?

Does the form's data source set to Sharepoint List1?

Could you tell me the data type of FilledSeats field and attendees field?

I've made a similar test for your reference:

I assume that: use attendees field's data to update FilledSeats field; the form's data source set to Sharepoint List1; FilledSeats field and attendees field are both number.

 

1)inset a form conneted with list1.

2) Set the attendees field's Datacard's Update to a variable.

Set(testdata,attendees_DataCard1.Update)

3)submit the form and update FilledSeats field.

SubmitForm(Form1);Patch(calendar,Defaults(calendar),{FilledSeats:testdata})
