PowerApps linked to OneDrive

Hi,

I have setup an app in PowerApps which is linked to an Excel file saved in my OneDrive account. I can access the data from my PC using the PowerApps but when I download the app on iOS, I have only managed to access the data once. Now if I select my app from the PowerApps list, it starts to open, but no data appears.

Any ideas?

Brendan

Re: PowerApps linked to OneDrive

Yesterday I experienced the same thing, but with Dropbox. My connections were not loading. There was an update 2.0.461, which I installed and everything was back to normal. You will need to manually update the app from the Store.

Other possibilities:

  1. Your table contains formulas. If you added your Table as dynamic data (OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.), no rows will populate. If you added your Table as static data, it will treat all data as Values, which will work, but the Values will not change by your formula.

Thanks Mr-Dang.

I re-installed the app and it connected! I closed the app and went to show it to a colleague, but the data won't open again. It seems to be trying to connect, but I just get the flying dots at the top of the screen, then they stop.

Very strange!

Re: PowerApps linked to OneDrive

Hi Brendan,

My PowerApps version is 2.0.461, both on PC and iOS. I got the same issue with you. I created an App from data with Excel file in OneDrive, then when I opened it on iOS, no data was shown. You could send a feedback to Microsoft. Please use the feedback icon(a smile face) on your App.
