Powerapp performance issue too slow to load

Hello All,

I have created an app with SQL Sever as data source, we are using Power app on premise data gateway to access our SQL db.

The app works perfectly in dev environment , however we moved the same app to production we are facing performance issue. It take a minute to get responce for any click event

I have used export package functionality to move app from dev environment to production environment.

(is it a right way to move app between environments?)

Looking forward to the solution or your feedback on my issue.

Also let me know if any details are required from my side.

Thanks,

Re: Powerapp performance issue too slow to load

Hi Tushar
Can you pass a sessionId or an appId of your app in production? Plus, rough time window you encountered slow perf. We can check telemetry.

In general, i will recommend you should check the capacity of on premise data gateway and then SQL. SQL query execution plan also needs to check.

Re: Powerapp performance issue too slow to load

Hi @Tushar ,

Usually, the environment will not affect the app's performance.

There are many reasons may affect the app's performance, like your app's size, database size, network, ect.

Here's a doc about some tips to improve app's performance for your reference:
