Powerapps connection Dynamics 365, organization does not exist

Hi there,

When im adding a Dynamics 365 data source im getting 99% of the time the following error:

Organization With Name = orgXXXXXX Does Not Exist

Sometimes it let me select my tables, and then i get 99% of the time the same error.

Even on mobile i'm getting this error.

Anyone knows a solution for this?
Searched google and the forum but nothing came up.

Re: Powerapps connection Dynamics 365, organization does not exist

Got a message from the Microsoft support center.

As of now, there is a limitation that we cannot create a connection between a tenant that is based out of NA to a CRM instance that is based out of EU. We have opened a bug and will be working on the fix.

However, as a workaround, you can go to PowerApps admin center and create an environment in EU region and then connect to CRM instance and we expect that to work. In order to create an environment you need to have a PowerApps Plan P2. If you don’t have that already you can sign up for a trial license.

Re: Powerapps connection Dynamics 365, organization does not exist

Hi EXir,

Do you have a subscription for Dynamics 365? Or is it a trial account?
Please make sure you have created a connection from PowerApps to Dynamics 365 properly.
What’s your PowerAppps plan?

This documentation about “Connect from PowerApps to Dynamics 365” for a reference:

Re: Powerapps connection Dynamics 365, organization does not exist

Hi Mabel Mao,

We have a subscription for a multi tenancy enviroment hosted online (Version: 8.1.0.587).

And with Powerapps im trying it with the free web version.

I followed the instructions, i added the connection, i can see all our enviroments.
But when i try to enter to see the tables the error:

"The tables did not load correctly. Please try again."

Organization With Name = orgXXXXX Does Not Exist

However, i managed to get in 1 out of the 100 times and see and select the table i want, then i get the same error again.

Error looks like: (but im not connecting to sharepoint)
Powerapps - sharepoint connection

Best regards,
Daniel

btw. Odata connection with power BI works great.
