Questions regarding InfoPath replacement viability and licensing

InfoPath is obviously getting long in the tooth and we don't want to deal with add-ons to keep it limping along.  I've done some testing by building one of our current forms in PowerApps and verified submissions to a SharePoint library but obviously things are a little different.  Is PowerApps a viable, stable platform for our basic use case if we're looking for the following?

  • Is the PowerApps app absolutely required to view these on mobile? This may be a deal breaker.
  • Any easy way to export the form views (PDF or printable view)?
  • Email notification and attachment of form view (i.e. InfoPath email with form data connection)
  • Easy user licencing (i.e. Add infopath forms service to account style)? (We have Office 365 Enterprise E3)

Thanks

Hi @RCodispotiFT ,

About Microsoft PowerApps and Infopath, could you please reference?

If you want to convert form data into a PDF file within your PowerApps app, I afraid there is no direct way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently. There is no built-in feature to do that within PowerApps currently.

As a alternative solution, you will need a third-party connector,  please check the following article:

More details about start a flow from an app, please check the following article:
