Reading an apps ID from another app

Hello everyone

I was wondering is it possible to read an app's Id while inside another app.

The reason I want to do this is so I can go to and from one app to another app

Currently I believe we can use the Launch function to go to a destination app but not return to the original app

Thank you all of you who read my queries

I really appreciate it

Thank you

Re: Reading an apps ID from another app

Hi @mpezzutti ,

Navigating to another PowerApps is possible, but detecting the app ID of the app that you navigate from is not avaiable I'm afraid. You could try to submit an idea in below forum if you need this feature:

Re: Reading an apps ID from another app

Hi,

At this present moment I dont think two apps can communicate like the way you want. However if you are on web, then we can simple redirect users to another app using its URL and perhaps pass parameter which can be read by called app.

Hope this helps,

Pranav
