Results Field

I have a form that has a list of multiple choice questions (5 possible answers) that I need to display the results of these questions on another page.  Any examples of this being used and/or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Brett

Re: Results Field

Take a look at the Template app for Health Plan Selector.  It asks a series of questions (albeit on multiple screens rather than one), then comes back with a final result on a new screen.  It should give you a reasonable example to follow.  Go to Create and scroll down to the bottom.  It is the last template in the list.

Re: Results Field

Thanks @LRVinNC for the prompt reply.  However that one returns what appears to be a calculation of the first fields being entered.  I am looking for a one to one reply.

If I select "Needs Improvement" on the first quetion I need it to appear as "Needs Improvement" on another page.

Thanks again,

Re: Results Field

The concept is still the same, and in fact, at least one of the responses on the last page (who is being covered) is a direct copy of what was selected in the question so you should be able to use it as a model.

One of the simplest ways to have the information available to use on the results screen (particuarly if you don't need the information to persist) is to simply store the values in global variables which can be referenced throughout your app.

Set(GlobalVariable1, value)

If you need the values to persist, you can write a record containing the answers out to your data store and then use that record when building your results page.
