Did anyone have a solution to this as I am editing multiple forms on multiple screens then using Patch command on the last screen but then I want to navigate back to my list view. I have tried
with no luck
If your patching, the OnSuccess will not work! All the OnSucess code needs to go on the OnSelect part. To achieve that, i recomment the If Function, that helped me with that case.
Any more help, talk to me, i am always available :D!
SubmitForm(EditForm1) is when you click a Button.OnSelect
OnSuccess is not a button, it is something under the property.
Click on EditForm1, then look for OnSuccess at left pane, and you can see
OnSuccess = Navigate(Screen2, None)
When you wish to submit, you have a
- Button1.OnSelect = Submit(Editform1)
But for OnSuccess (as I mentioned in the another post), is inside the propery
Please see my screenshot.
Please don;t mix-up with. TQ
Has anyone had any success with this?
I've built an entire app, that is ready for deployment, however, suddenly the navigation after submit no longer works.
I've tried everything listed previously with no success.
It seems like every day there is a new issue with PowerApps: one-day navigation stops working, next day users can't log in, the following day connection errors to SharePoint.
I'm not sure if the PowerApps software is fully ready for deployment...feels like beta software.
Got it to work (for now)!
Instead of typing in OnSuccess.Navigate(Screen1, .....), or OnFailure.Navigate(Screen2, ...) in the formula bar, I had to use the Navigate drop-down option found under Action tab. Once PowerApps populates with info, it works (fingers crossed).
You need to changed the above mentioned behaviour in the form settings (click on form and check Advanced tab on the right panel) instead of changing it in the OnSelect of the control.
