SaveData Title Using DateTime Value

I've been using my form the past few days, running offline, using the SaveData function. It's then uploaded to SharePoint at the end of each day using the LoadData function.

In case the upload didn't perfectly work, I had a backup SaveData file too. Unfortunately, I had the name of this pulling off a text label (which had a datetime value in it). This datetime value was now() - so effectively it was static.

The issue I'm having is trying to find the file again! I can't work out how the string is stored, so the LoadData function isn't working for me.

The name of the file was saved as: 8/19/2018 5:30 PM

How would this be stored?

Re: SaveData Title Using DateTime Value

Hi @EnergiserFlow,

See in below documentation:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-savedata-loaddata

Storage is encrypted and in a private location on the local device, isolated from other users and other apps.

To see the data file, on Windows it is stored at

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MSApps_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState

The file will have a weird name and is encrypted. The only way to read it is via LoadData.

Regards,

Mona
