Set(var#####,ThisItem.#####) - Not getting any values first time around on the form.

I have apps with many variables using the Set function. When I go to a form that should have the variables set, they do not come up with any value at first. I go back to the previous screen and return to finally get the appropriate values. Any ideas?

Yes, try to use UpdateContext({ variable : value}) instead, and pass the context to Navigate if need
