Hi,
I need some guidance on sharing my app.
I just built an app using SharePoint lists as a data source.
I want to share app URL to the end users and they should be able to access this without me giving them access.
Since this is an intake form so my expectation is that to share with any users within the company network.
Is that something possible or I need to give SharePoint lists access to the end users in order for them to access?
Please advise.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can choose 'everyone' as the sharing recipients to have everyone in your organization have access, but they will also need the appropriate permission in SharePoint list (if they are only viewing lists, they need View permission, else they need Contribute, etc.) otherwise it won't work.
HI @satishpandey ,
Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?
Do you create a standalone canvas app based on your SP List or custom a form in your SP list using PowerApps?
Further, do you want the end users to be able to access your app via app URL without you giving them access?
If you want the end users to be able to access your app via app URL without you giving them access, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.
If you want the end users to access your standalone canvas app, you must share your app to the end users, and the end users must have enough permission to access your SP list data source.
More details about sharing app and resource, please check the following article:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/share-app
If you want the end users to access your custom form of your SP list, the end users must have enough permisson to access your SP list data source, and the end users must own Office 365 includes PowerApps license at least.
Please check the following article for more details:
In addition, you could only share your app with other users in your Organization within PowerApps currently. You could not share apps with external users.
Best regards,

Hi v-xida-msft
This is a canvas app based on my SP Lists.
I just figured out the access. I gave access powerapps intake access to everyone in my company and the same thing to SharePoint list. I test with one of the users and it worked.
I am little reluctant in giving SharePoint access to everyone, though, they would not know the location as we will be sharing just the app web URL.
Hope, this update is useful.
