Show calenar events from other users

Hello all,

i've a question to get information from other user calendars.

The idea is that we have a reception that accepts various calls from customers for the employees. When the customer asks if colleague XY has time for an appointment, the person at reception enters the colleague in a combo box (displays the person selection box) and selects the colleague and the appointments of today are displayed in a gallery. With the option that you can choose another date via a DatePicker.

Querying your own calendar entries with the Office365Outlook connector works without problems - but also those of other users?

Because of the authorization for the calendars of the employees, it would be advantageous to give a service account authorization for the different calendars in the background. I think there are difficulties here, because PowerApps is always executed in the user context. Or is it possible to permanently set a connector to a service account controlled by the administrator?

If you have any ideas, I would be very grateful

Re: Show calenar events from other users

Yes, you are right.

PowerApps is always executed in the user context.

For other User Calendars, it would require their user authentication information to access it.

As the calendar is stored under the User Private MailBox of Office 365.

And the connection wihtin PowerApps currently only supports to access user own Data.

for the service Account, basically I don't think that is possible.

Would it be available for all your users to access SharePoint Calendar, which should be supported in PowerApps:

A good blog here

Michael
