ShowControls property in Pen Input control

Hi all, just wondering if there is a way currently to disable/not show a certain control eg eraser and still have all the other controls shown or not. I have tried the ShowControls property and that to my knowledge is just true or false to show the control or not. Thanks in advance

No, the controls are either shown all at once or none. You can create a new feature request in the PowerApps Ideas board for this functionality.

Notice that you can implement the same functionality yourself. The mode (draw / erase) is controlled by the property "Mode" of the Pen Input control; to erase all data you can use the Reset function; to update the pen width/size you can use the Size property, and to update the color you can use the Color property of the control.

This would only be for the implementation of Pen Input control and not while the app runs right?

Re: ShowControls property in Pen Input control

It can be used while the app is running as well. If you open the attached app, you'll see one implementation of such custom controls. It definitely isn't pretty, but it should give you an idea of how you would go about doing it.
