Sorting a column based on Sharepoint Choice

Hi everyone, I have a sharepoint list 'Worklist' and there is one field 'category_1' that is setup as a choice. Is there a way to sort these yet in powerapps? I was originally trying to use the sortcolumns function but after doing some research I found that doesnt work with "choice" setups and was recommended to use the sort() function instead. That did not work as intended either. Any help would be great.
