Suppressing error message when logged in user has no direct reports

I have a power apps gallery that displays a list of direct reports with the following Items property:

Sort(Office365Users.DirectReports(TextInput5_1.Text),DisplayName,Ascending)

(TextInput5_1.Text is the logged in user's UPN)

This works fine unless a user with no direct reports logs in -- a red error message appears across the home page of the app.

Is there a way to suppress this message?  Are there any function(s) I can add to the Items property to resolve?

Thanks!

Hi STLChristy

Have a look at this post, I believe it addresses a similar problem and a solution that has worked for me in the past:
