The Out of the Box Navigation available for the Gallery in PowerApps does not work

We have created an app to display some information from SharePoint list using Gallery in Power Apps. We enabled the Show Naviagtion option so that the navigation control be enabled on top and bottom side of the App(as attached). It was working fine till few days back.

And then we had a requirement to do some minor changes in the app(Font size changes) etc. Post that the navigation control has stopped working(As attached). Is there some issue with thePowerApp default navigation? Is this functionality is now Absolute? Is there any alternative to the solution.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: The Out of the Box Navigation available for the Gallery in PowerApps does not work

Hi @Anonymous,

Is your navigation not useful after the font size changed?

I test on my side and do not have the issue. Could you please turn off “Improved app rendering (final validation)” option in App Settings->Advance Settings panel to test or Could you please create one new to test again?

As the alternative solution, I think you can use scrollbar to instead it if it is not useful.

I test as next:

Before change font size:

20190212Navigation1.gif

After change font size:

20190212Navigation2.gif

Scrollbar: turn Show scrollbar to on.(the option above Show navigation)

Scrollbar test:

Hope this can be helpful.

Best Regards.

Yumia

Re: The Out of the Box Navigation available for the Gallery in PowerApps does not work

@Anonymous This is a known issue with the show navigation buttons. The cause is that the buttons are positioned behind the gallery contents. If the button just happens to be overlapping with other controls, you cannot select it. The workaround now is to set ShowScrollbars to true (which is a good thing for usability anyway).

The fix will be coming soon.
