Too Many employees in a ad group to show up in drop down menu

I need to make a dropdown that shows employees in a certain AD group. The problem is the group has more than 100 employees and I know there is a limation for the dropdown to be about 100 I believe. The other way I was thinking was to create a text input and the user types in a person's name and that name should be able to pop up into the dropdown from the ad group. I was able to do with office365Users but some reason cant figure out a way to do it with Office365Users

The code i used to with the office365users is  to link it to a text input.

Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm: TextInput1.Text})

I know if i have the user type in a name through the text input it is a way to have about 999 choices for the drop down. When the user types in a name in the text input I need the dropdown to be searching the ad group to see if the person even exists in the dropdown.

I just don't know that code that would let me link up the dropdown to the text input to let you search through the ad group.

currently i am using this code

Office365Groups.ListGroupMembers("GroupID").value

Thanks

Hi @alex5p

Replace dropdown control with combobox control (and set SelectMultiple property to false)

problem with using the combobox is it only limits to about 100 people I am missing about 20 people from the list.

About the 8 minute mark if you don't want the preliminary talk.

Re: Too Many employees in a ad group to show up in drop down menu

@RezaDorrani  Do you know if it's possible just have it search through office365groups instead? so the user will only be able to search through a certain group instead of the whoel company?

Hi @alex5p

In that case , use Office 365 groups connector to get all group members for a particular group
