Updating a SharePoint Choice Column

I want to do an update to a batch of records in sharepoint from powerapps.  I have hit a snag with the value of the sharepoint column as it is a choice box with one selection SENT

The command I am using is

UpdateIf('CAT 2 Stats', IsBlank(SENT),{SENT:"Sent"}  )

SENT is the the Choice Column and a I want to pute in the Word "SENT"

I have tried numurous appraches and the only method that does not show an error {SENT:SENT} but this does not do anything when executed

Hope someone can help.

PS  i leave this here now as it may be releavant to get an answer for future use,  but I simply created  YES/No Checkbox on teh sharepoint list and had no issues with teh updating

Re: Updating a SharePoint Choice Column

Hi @leyburn19

If I understood your question correctly, you are trying to update the value of a SharePoint column that is of type Choice. Right?

If that's the case, this post can help you with how to properly set the value of the column when trying to update it:https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Forum/Solved-patching-to-SharePoint-choice-and-lookup-...

Hope this helps 🙂

Re: Updating a SharePoint Choice Column

Hi @leyburn19,

Can you decscribe more clearly about what you want to achieve using the formula? Did you mean that you want to update a whole column data after clicking on the "Send" option in one dropdown list of choice column?

Regards,
