Video cannot be played on Ipad

Hi everyone,

I have build an app using powerapps which consist of 2 screen.

1. First screen is for user to fill in their details in the form and submit it.

2. When user submit the form from, it will navigate to Second screen which will play a video.

Everything is okay when it is on web browser and also my Android phone.

But, it is different when I tried to use ipad. User is able to submit the form on the first screen and navigate to the second screen. But the video on the second screen cannot be played.

Any suggestion to solve this issue?

Hi @shabila97 - here is the updated list of supported platforms. Can you advise which version of PowerApps you're running? The below information can be found at this link

I want to provide an update today on some changes to supported platforms and versions of PowerApps. We are making these changes and providing some suggestions to ensure that we can continue to provide best experiences for all of our customers. Most of these changes will be effective February 1st, 2018.

Here is quick summary of the changes:

PowerApps on Android, iOS and PowerApps Studio for Windows with version lower than 2.0.710 will not be supported starting February 1st and you will be prompted to update the app on launch. We encourage you to update PowerApps to the latest version from your device's respective app store to avoid any disruption. The latest versions of PowerApps are up to 50% faster than older versions.

PowerApps supports a wide variety of device platforms and browsers, for the best experience we recommend the following configurations:

  • Android: Version 7 or higher devices with at least 4 GB of RAM
  • Browser: Latest version of Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome
  • iOS: Version 10 or higher devices with at least 2 GB of RAM
  • Windows Desktop: Windows 10 Fall Creators Update with at least 8 GB of RAM

These recommendations are based on statistics gathered from real-world usage. We observe that Android devices with latest OS versions and 4 GB of RAM are up to 75% faster. Similarly, iOS devices with 2 GB of RAM are 50% faster than older devices.

Lastly, we will discontinue support for PowerApps (preview) on Windows Phone starting February 1st. The app will continue to be available in the store but it will not be supported. It will not include any future enhancements or security fixes. As an alternative we recommend you use the built in browser.

Thanks for your continued support and as always, we would love to hear your feedback and suggesti
