Video tutorials

Are there any good video tutorials with step by step instruction on how to use Power Apps with a share point list?

Re: Video tutorials

I am not sure about videos, but here is what worked for me step-by-step.  If you get stuck please respond with step number and screenshot if possible.

  1. Create a simple custom list in your SharePoint Online site (not sure it works on-premise), if you do not already have one
  2. Sign into https://web.powerapps.com
  3. On the left select Manage and then Connections
  4. At the top right select New Connection
  5. From the menu, select SharePoint Online and follow the instructions. Your connection should now appear in your list of connections
  6. I assume you have downloaded PowerApps Studio, please launch it
  7. Create a new blank PowerApp (Phone or Tablet)
  8. At the top select Content and then Data Sources
  9. In the panel that appears on the right, select Add data source
  10. You should see the SharePoint connection added above in step 5, select it
  11. The data souure should now appear in the Data sources panel, and you are now ready to consume the data in your PowerApp.  Take a note of the data source name
  12. At the top select Insert and then Gallery and select a vertical custom gallery
  13. Set the Items property of the gallery to the name of your data source from Step 11
  14. Select the first section of the gallery and insert a text box
  15. Set the Text property of the text box to ThisItem.Title, the Title column contents should now appear in your gallery

If you have got this far then the rest should be ok
